Whether it is a regular appointment to maintain a style, or a spur-of-the-moment treat, the salon at St. George’s Park is the place where our pampering specialists create their magic. A new hair-do and beautifully manicured nails are a must-have when there’s so much socialising to be done.
Residents can find themselves awash with memories of times gone by, amazed by fictional landscapes and characters, and perhaps even hopeful that their team or sporting hero will win. Whatever the event, the film room is where our residents can immerse themselves in the sights and sounds that the latest technology brings to life.
Our recent extension project has added a wonderful communal space for our residents, enhancing their living experience. At St George's Park, residents have access to a wealth of engaging activities designed to enrich their lives. Our dedicated team of Lifestyle Coordinators implements a variety of fulfilling, dementia-friendly activities that are both comprehensive and tailored to the unique preferences of each resident.
We understand that families often worry about their loved ones becoming distressed during social activities or feeling isolated while watching television. That’s why we customise our activities based on each resident's needs. If a resident feels overstimulated by group activities, we provide the option to enjoy quiet time in the garden or listen to calming music. Our goal is to ensure that residents are not merely passive observers but lead as fulfilling a lifestyle as possible.
Our committed Lifestyle Coordinators take special care to organise activities specifically designed for residents living with dementia. In addition to catering to existing hobbies and interests, they arrange a diverse range of inclusive and inviting sessions, including pamper days, regular hydration trolley services, and visits from local scouts.
While residents make the most of their indoor time, our enthusiastic team is always available to assist them in enjoying outdoor strolls in the gardens or arranging outings using the home minibus for visits to RAF Cosford or the nearby lake.
